All horses born in or after 2018 must be nominated and have a Premier Sires enrollment number as well as current ownership on file in order to show in any Premier Sires class: Limited Series, Breeders Futurity or Stakes classes. Horses born in or before 2017 are eligible to show in the Stakes classes as long as the sire is currently enrolled in Premier Sires. Nomination is based on the stallion’s current enrollment rather than breeding or foaling year. Once a stallion is enrolled their foals of any age are eligible to be nominated at the respective rate for their age. Likewise, once a stallion terminates their enrollment, nominated foals remain eligible to show but foals who have not been nominated are no longer eligible for nomination regardless of breeding or foaling year.
