MATCHING FUNDS

The Premier Sires Matching Funds program seeks to support shows in all regions of the country by working with them to increase the payouts at their show. Shows willing to commit funds to host Premier Sires classes at their event can request a 100% match in funds from Premier Sires. In order to request matching funds, the show must agree to the following requirements:
  • The funds committed by the show and matched by Premier Sires must be paid out in classes restricted to Premier Sires eligible horses.
  • A minimum of 55% of the entry fee in all approved classes must be jackpotted.
  • The show will pay Premier Sires a fee per stall based on the dollar amount matched plus 5% of each paid entry fee.
    • Less than $5,000 – $2.50 per stall
    • $5,000 to $9,999 – $5.00 per stall
    • $10,000 to $19,999 – $10.00 per stall
    • More than $20,000 – $15.00 per stall
In addition to a 100% match in funds, Premier Sires will provide a trophy for each class with a minimum of $1,000 added and a champion’s neck ribbon for all approved classes. If your show would like to be considered for Matching Funds, please submit an application. The application is a request only and does not guarantee funds will be granted. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
